Whitney Museum: The American Century

Special projects at the Judson Rosebush Company take on many forms, but a repeating theme is the utilization of new technologies to create new media experiences. Case in point: The Director's Preview of the American Century at the Whitney Museum. Sponsored by NTT, Japan and produced by Pacific Interface Inc., this 12 minute extravaganza showcased a new Super High Definition (SHD) computer display technology whereby digital representations of masterpieces from the Whitney collection are buttressed by a pair of video monitors to tell the story of 100 years of American art.
